Patients with lung cancer should stay away from food additivesFood additives can change the foods' color and odor, to adjust the taste of food and extend food preservation, are indispensable materials of food. But recently, Korea Seoul National University researchers found in animal experiments, phosphate-type food additives will not only accelerate the growth of lung cancer, but also promote the occurrence of lung cancer.

Phosphate, an inorganic chemical, is a salt of phosphoric acid. Inorganic phosphates are mined to obtain phosphorus for use in agriculture and food industry. Phosphate in is currently the most widely used food quality improver. Cola, lemon soda, chocolate, ice cream, cookies, ketchup, mayonnaise, meat and spontaneous powder all contain such additives.
