Chengdu: 20 percents of candy have excessive additives

CandyChengdu Trade and Industry Bureau announced a product quality monitoring of candy, with a pass rate of only 80%. Some candy producers add excessive sodium cyclamate and lemon yellow pigment.

If intake lemon yellow pigment excessively, the tartrazine pigment will accumulate in the body, causing a certain harm to the liver.

If the person consume cyclamate for long time, the body will be caused harm, especially for the groups have weaker capacity of metabolic detoxification.
